简介：一个小城，五十多岁的庄稼人孙天铎（周斌饰）得知几年未见的弟弟孙定海（赵国朴饰）回乡投资，并欲借此机会将父亲的骨灰入土村中祖坟，孙天铎专程赶来阻止。父亲临终前交代子女不愿下葬村里，只求留在家中。但兄弟二人对父亲遗言中的“家”有着不同理解，如何能让父亲真正“回家”，兄弟两人产生了巨大的矛盾。孙天铎坚决不同意父亲入土祖坟，在与孙定海争辩无果，准备强夺时，发现骨灰竟被孙定海锁进了妹妹家的保险箱。孙天铎为了给父亲一个长眠地，决心夺回骨灰，把父亲接回自己家……
